Formula Racing in North Wales – Flat, Fast and Furious!

Pwhllheli produced perfect racing conditions for the Formula Fleet as Adrian Wallis retains his position leading the National Formula Fleet. UKWA race 4 event took place over the weekend of 24/25 Aug at Pwhllheli in north Wales. Only one member of the RN team, Adrian Wallis braved the long journey west and reports here.

Formula – Fun, fast and frightening!

Adrian Wallis describes the opening Formula events on the new RNSA race boards. Adrian is leading the National Fleet, but he does not win all the battles... With three events completed the UKWA formula season is half over so this seems a good opportunity to provide an update on the year so far. The picture? we'll come to that in a moment but do not fear no kit was abused in the making of a jolly good bruise.

Tudor Sailing Club will host its Junior Regatta on Saturday 7th September with the Race briefing starting at 10:30.

There will be three races on the water, Oppi Races (parent optional) followed by a BBQ and prize giving.

RNSA (PB) wins a prize at the Weymouth Regatta!

Ian Bowker’s High Hopes represents the Branch in a very enjoyable new-format Regatta The Weymouth Keelboat Regatta took place between August 14th and 18th with a new format that included evening races on the Wednesday and Thursday, a long race on the Friday and then two inshore races on Saturday and one on Sunday.
