General Update

The Tidal Diamonds are likely to be a bit quiet for a while, but I thought it worth repeating some of what was communicated in the recent club email, just to be sure it hasn’t been missed.

• The club bar and galley will be closed to members from Friday 20th March 2020 until at least 30th April 2020.
• All social, sailing, rowing and cadet events between these dates are also cancelled or where possible postponed.
• A further decision on club operation from May 1st onwards will be communicated nearer the time.
• The two remaining sessions for permit collection (22nd and 27th March) will go ahead; members are asked not to linger whilst doing this, and arrangements will be made to minimise interpersonal contact. The bar will not be open on these dates.
• At the present time our cruiser launch weekend is scheduled to go ahead on 4th and 5th April. A final decision will be taken on the Wednesday prior to the planned launch date. Members are encouraged to launch prior to this date if at all possible; if you wish to launch early then please contact the Bosuns.
• The launch briefing will be issued by email and will include procedures to minimise inter-personal contact on the day. No food will be provided on the day.
• Members should follow recommended practice on hand washing. We have posted guidance in each of the changing rooms. We have also asked our cleaners to supply hand sanitising gels.
