Tidal Diamond No. 501
Cruiser Break Ins
I have had reported today that a number of cruisers have been broken into. At this point I don’t know how many / who has been affected. Please can cruiser owners pop down and check their boat and ensure that all ladders are secure, boarding ladders should be folded up and locked into position where possible. We have now been targeted twice, so please take home anything valuable that you would like keep hold of. Please also take home your tools, loose tools make it even easier for the thieves to break into other boats.
The local Hampshire Police community team will be visiting the club on Sunday 20th March, 12pm – 1.30pm to talk to members about Immobilise, a free service where you can register valuables with the hope of being reunited with them should they be stolen and recovered by the police.
THIS IS A FINAL REMINDER FOR ALL WHO HAVE NOT YET COLLECTED THEIR PLAQUES.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT YOUR PLAQUES WILL NOT BE POSTED TO YOU.
If you have renewed on line or by cheque please come and collect your plaques from me on:
SUNDAY MARCH 13th Between 12.30 and 13.30
If you have not sent your boat form(s) back please bring them with you and you can collect your plaques once I have seen your form(s). I cannot issue plaques without verification of insurance – your boat form has this at the bottom!!
After this session any issues will need to be referred to the Paul as Hon Sec. Contact details in your diaries.
