Winter is nigh!
Sad to say that there are still quite a few boats – Tenders and Sailing dinghies – in the compound that are unnamed and some with flat tyres. We will be moving several boats within the next 2 days to clear space for the Cruisers over the Winter, please can you check that your boat is not going to cause us any problems.
Please check that:
- YOUR BOAT IS CLEARLY NAMED. Tenders should be marked t.t. Boat name
- THE TROLLEY IS IN GOOD ORDER AND IT CAN BE MOVED EASILY.

Wild Goose Chase
The 2015 dinghy racing season rounds off this Sunday with the Wild Goose Chase, an event for competitors from Tudor, Locks and Langstone. This year the racing, for Fast and Medium Handicap Fleets, will start and finish on the Tudor SC line, with a prize giving shortly afterwards. The Sailing Instructions are attached. Please come along if you can.

Recovery Briefing

As usual we will have the get together of all Cruiser owners to discuss the format of the Recovery Weekend – 17th / 18th October. We will discuss safety as well as our expectations of the members for the weekend.

Open Forum
Tudor is hosting this years Open Forum, organised by the Advisory Committee to Langstone Harbour Board (on which Tudor is represented through membership of the Portsmouth & Langstone Sailing Association). It is on Thursday 15th October and there are talks from the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust, the CitiZan Project and the Solent Protection Society. You can also find out more about the Advisory Committee and PLSA. Attendance is open to all, although we do ask that you let LHB know you are coming so we have an idea of numbers.
