Lake Como Update 2

Hamish and Emma leading the RS200 Fleet On the second day of sailing the wind was still fickle across the lake for all the fleets. After 2 hours chasing the Committee Boat the boats finally got away for the first race of the day. Dominating from the start, Hamish and Emma held onto the lead for the 2 laps for a well deserved bullet.

Our August Sailor in focus, Ryan, has progressed from a 'manly pink topper' and has aspirations of winning championships and some foiling sailing. I'm sure many of you will recognise this sailing pathway.

RNSA(P) Wednesday Summer Series Race 9

A fitting end to a hard fought Summer Series, plenty of breeze and a fine turnout. Electron V the SOOD set a true beat to Motherbank, a kite reach to Kemps Quay, a gybe and a broader kite reach home. The focus was going to be on the fight for the podium positions in the IRC class which involved the 2 Sigma 33's Happy Apple and Spirit of Kudu and the Elan 333, Tinker T.

Indie insists on inspecting the chinchillas’ cage after I clean it (I guess he wants to make sure I did a proper job). There’s been more than a few occasions where he decided to actually *climb into* the cage, and managed to get himself *stuck*. I actually had to dismantle the 5′ cage to get him out once.

RN Dinghy Team Lake Como

The RN Dinghy Team are competing in the RS Eurocup at Lake Como, Italy Having safely arrived at Lake Como for the 2017 RS Eurocup, the small contingent of 3 RNSA RS200 are ready to compete at this year's event. The normal thermal wind failed to arrive on the Sunday leading to a frustrating day in the dinghy park.
