Recovery Weekend

Recovery weekend is on 20th / 21st October. We will be recovering all the boats on the moorings unless informed otherwise

Safety Briefing will be on Wednesday 17th October 20:00 hours. We require all cruiser members to attend the briefing

It is an expectation that all Cruiser owners attend / help at the Recovery Weekend especially if your boat has already been recovered as we always need a lot of personnel for various jobs, crewing for other boats, RIB driving, help with tenders, road marshalling etc.

As last year, we ask that you sign in both on Wednesday evening and at the weekend with your boat name and mobile telephone number (this was helpful last year when we could not locate people).

Razor Wire Fencing in Compound

Two breaches in the razor wire fencing at the north end of the compound has probably been the means of access to steal a number of kayaks.

The razor fencing has been reinstated and reinforced. This has entailed using the fencing to cover gaps and means the fencing reaches the ground at two locations at the northern end.

Members are requested to take care in those areas and ensure children stay well clear of the fencing.
