The 2015 SFR will be taking place on Sunday 14th June, with a practice race and the party night with a live band and bar on Saturday the 13th. For more details (and to enter) select ‘Solent Forts Race’ on the menu bar above.

A bit of a slow start so far with the Spring Series, hope to see more members for the first Trophy event of the year – the 3 Forts Race. Don’t forget that there is an afternoon start for this one.

Looking good for the Island Cup tomorrow. Briefing at 10:00 in the Clubhouse, start at 10:30. Don’t forget to take a mobile phone with you (this is mandatory).

Just a reminder about the Nab Tower Race this weekend. The course is easy to remember – out to the Nab Tower and back!

 

This race takes you further offshore than any of the other club races, and is worth taking part in for this aspect alone if you normally stay close inshore. Take a look at the description of the race in the Club Handbook if you want to know more.

 

Please remember that for safety reasons you will need to take a mobile phone with you (in a waterproof bag).

weather looks reasonable with a F4 forecast for Sunday. 

Following the decision to request event registration, we have at least 4 boats signed up and intending to to take part in the race this Sunday. This is one of my favourites, and can be good fun if the weather suits the event, and by golly it looks ideal. SO, come on peeps, get registering, make it worth the officials time and come on down.
