SPRING SERIES RACES 1 AND 2.

ROLL UP ROLL UP….FOR THE FIRST RACE(S) OF THE 2014 SEASON.

Sunday 20th April.  Spring Series Races 1 and 2. The weather outlook is favourable F3 building F4, with some warm sunshine to boot.

Start time for Race 1 is 11am, with the Race 2 early in the afternoon after a break for a spot of lunch. 

Looking forward to seeing lots of you at the club.

Unfortunately, due to a problem with the club safety boat steering, this weekends recreational sailing day (that was planned with safety boat cover) will have to be cancelled. Apologies for the inconvenience.

EVENT CALENDAR CHANGE

the FAMILY FUN DAY programmed for 01/09/13 will not now go ahead as scheduled on the Event Calendar. . Instead the club will be having an open day to coincide with the National WaterSports festival that is being held just around the corner from HFSC.

Club Saiing

All,

in addition to the already published programme, and further to emails sent out last week to all HFSC members, Neil Phillips has kindly volunteered to run an additional sailing day on the 21st July (start time 1100 hrs) with the club safety boat on the water. Not a race, just a sailing day. 

We also have recreational sailing this Sunday 14th July, again with the safety boat on the water. Come on down and have some fun.

Welcome to the 2013 Season at HFSC!

Hello everyone and welcome to the 2013 sailing season at HFSC.

Lots happening on and off the water, including:

> Clubhouse Frontage Improvements – Sat 6th April 09:00 onwards. We’re fitting new windows and bi-fold doors to your clubhouse – trade skills needed!
 
> Work Party – Sun 7th April 10:00–16:00. Please come and help maintain your club! Bring tools for carpentry, painting & gardening etc. Lunch will be provided.
> 3 Forts Race Sun 21st April, 11:00 start.

> The Solent Forts Race has been confirmed for Sunday 9th June, and we are well-on with the organisation for this (which is significant to say the least). We will shortly be contacting those who ticked the ‘I may be available to help with the Solent Forts Race’ box on the membership form.

> Bands on the Beach, Saturday 8th June (to coincide with the Solent Forts Race). Includes food and bar – should be our best gig yet. Put it in your diary – friends and family can come too.

The Events Schedule will be sent out shortly.

Autumn Series

Three Forts Race Sunday 9th September

On our last remaining spare day I am going to try yet again to run the Three Forts Race.

This is a great sail and if the conditions are right it is really enjoyable to go outside our normal sailing area.So here is your chance to have a really special day.

Harbour Race

Come on chaps and lassies. School holidays are over so back to business. Come and join in the Harbour Race, great fun – your never far from the shore so if you fall in you have only got to walk.
