Day Skipper or Comp Crew needed to mate 17-18 Jun for a Solent cruise I have HMS Sultan's Dehler 34, Head Over Heels, booked for 17-18 Jun to take a few people from the office to Yarmouth and back. Unfortunately, the mate has had to drop out. If anyone can clear their diary for 2 day's cruising the Solent and help out it would be very much appreciated.

What are you doing on the weekend of 29-30 June? The RN trainees (230 of them) need you and with the numbers involved the organisers need all the help we can get to provide both water craft (yachts in particular) and qualified instructors. This will be run from the RN Sailing Centre at Whale Islan Exercise Nile is a water based Adventurous Training weekend from 29-30 June involving approximately 230 of MWS Collingwood Phase 2 trainees.

Annual Calais Rally

Thames Estuary Yacht Clubs gather in Calais every Spring Bank Holiday weekend lead by RNSA East Coast Branch and Little Ship Club, London Calais 2013 After an extremely cold and wet crossing , 8 boats and 35 members assembled in Calais for the annual Calais Rally held jointly by the Little Ship Club, London and RNSA East Coast.

RNSA/RDYC Friday Evening Racing

A round-up of Series 1 so far This year’s Friday evening racing has been very enjoyable and civilised, albeit participation so far has been limited. In High Hopes we did not attend the first race, like many this year behind with preparation and not having launched, but we have participated in the last two.

Winter mooring work

A summary of maintenance done over the winter Following the replacement of the risers and buoy-rods over the winter 2011/12, the work done this winter was largely limited to inspection and clean-up. The buoys were found to be in sound condition, albeit cosmetically they are showing their age, the rods are wearing well as are the ground chains.

Wildfire III Memorial Parade and Service on 8 September 2013

The attached has been received from Queenborough and District Naval Ensign Association. This years Wildfire III Memorial Parade and Service will be held on 8* September 2013 at North Queenborough. Car parking will be available at Aesica (formally Abbotts). The light refreshments and entertainment will be held in Queenborough Social Club, North Rd.
