Plymouth Branch Summer Drinks Reception

All members are invited to the Summer Drinks Reception being held at RWYC by kind permission of their Commodore. 1900 to 2030 for Pimms and canapés (and the bar will be open during and afterwards). We will be inviting senior representatives from the local yacht clubs. Members are encouraged to attend this summer social to renew old acquaintances and to meet members from other sections and local clubs.

Devonport Sailing Challenge 2014

The Naval Base and Babcock Sailing Challenge on the afternoon of Wednesday 11 Jun 14 involves Service and private yachts with mixed Babcock and MoD/RN crew. The aim is to sail with your colleagues rather than win at all cost! It involves a race around the cans and a river passage race. This year it is being organised by RNSA who invite applications from local RNSA members, particularly those willing to bring a yacht to offer more opportunities for youngsters to experience the sport.

RNSA (P) Early Summer Series – Race 8

The threatened rain did not materialise for race 8, the penultimate race of the RNSA(P) Early Summer Series and a fleet 0f 14 boats assembled off Gilkicker pleased they didn't need their fouly tops. When the SOOD, Jolly Jack Tar got over the shock of finding they were in charge of the nights racing and had hastily dug out their SI's a course to NE Ryde Middle, Browndown and back was set.
