Not very summery! Rain all day and no wind. However today the Met office forecasters actually earned their pay today. They prophesied that by 1830 the flat calm will have morphed into a N to NE breeze of 7-9 knots - and thus it became. Although initially a tad miserable (nobody likes rain dripping down their necks) the Dolphin which accompanied the fleet out to Gilkicker point cheered everyone up, it seemed particularly keen to provide a bit of racing advice to Sunshine and eventually accompanied Option back to her berth in the marina.
