Eric Twiname Championships 2018

A team of Scottish sailors headed South at the beginning of May for the annual Eric Twiname Championships and seems to start off the run of weather we have enjoyed for the rest of May.

London and South East Pushes the Boat Out

Over 50 clubs and centres in London and the South East joined in the RYA Push the Boat Out during May

RN Sailors are National Champions

The Royal Navy Sailing Team are the 2018 J109 National Champions after a nail biting Regatta run by the Island Sailing Club in Cowes. The team competed in the RNSA’s 36 foot racing yacht ‘Jolly Jack Tar’ against other crack UK teams. The Regatta took place over the late May Bank Holiday and saw the team of 8 racing in a variety of conditions – from the lightest of summer breezes building to Force 6.

London and South East Honda RYA Youth RIB area finals – preparing for blast off

Young powerboaters from across the London and South East will hit the water for the area finals of the championship at Datchet Water Sailing Club on 9 June and Medway Yacht Club on 16 June.

A number of sockets in the main compound are out of order due to faulty RCD’s. They have been covered in silver duct tape with ‘out of order’ written on them. Please do not use them. They will be fixed/replaced and another Tidal Diamond announcement will be made.

Gluten Free pasta available if booked in advanced, veggie sauce will be gluten free but contain nuts. Jacket potato also available for those who don’t fancy pasta.
