Parachutes and planes to fill skies in D Day event

News artical in media 19th January 2019. Commemorations of the greatest seaborne invasion in history to liberate Europe. A Second World War flight display will be staged from IWM Duxford with a cross channel flight and parachute landings in Normandy on 6th June organised in partnership with the ‘group Daks over Normandy’.

25th January -We had a very informative talk by Dr Gordon Watson on Marine Biology. The Cheese Supper was well supported too! Lots of cheese left (still in date and unopened), will be brought back to club on Friday 15th February.

1st February – is prize giving. Billy Porter and delightful Roberta will be cooking Lasagne. Please see Webcollect for details and booking!

8th February – is Oyster talk please check out Webcollect for food options.

16th February – (Saturday) Sandra is preparing delicious feast. A three course meal will be on offer.

I have been advised that there are some second row moorings available. Details can be found in a diagram in the Members area of the website. Look for the Mooring Layout document in the Bosuns Docs section. If you know a non member looking for a mooring the next Prospective Members evening is Friday 8th February.
