The East region enjoyed a fantastic final weekend of Push the Boat Out activity, with several events taking place over the long bank holiday weekend, meaning that almost 60 events took place in the East during May.

RNSA win Services Offshore Regatta
This year's SOR saw 3 races: Portsmouth to Cherbourg, Cherbourg to Weymouth and Weymouth to Portsmouth. RNSA won first IRC, first Victoria 34 and the overall regatta. The conditions were extremely challenging but eveyone had fun, very well done to all. The boats left last Monday and arrived back late yesterday.

RNSA(P) Dinghy James Cup 1
First of 5 evenings of handicap racing in Portsmouth harbour Four RNSA sailors turned out for the first evening of the James Cup. All four sailed fusions which, to the race officer’s delight, negated the need for handicap. The sun shone throughout and the fleet enjoyed some occasionally flukey SE F3 winds.
