RNSA(P) Wednesday Spring Series race 7
Although it had been blowing dogs off chains in the Solent all day the forecast wind models indicated a moderation in the eastern Solent around 1800 therefore the series organiser decided to go ahead with racing and let individual owners decide on whether they wished to participate. As it turned out over half the fleet decided to play and although somewhat frisky on leaving harbour the reduction in pressure came in as forecast.
