Langstone Harbour Survey
I have been contact by Ibrahim Lawan who is a student studying MSc Coastal and Marine Resource Management in the Department of Geography at the University of Portsmouth.
He wants to ask for your assistance on his MSc dissertation which deals with Citizen Science (i.e. science projects where non-professionals or the general public are involved in undertaking scientific research).
He would like you to complete a survey at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/LVXRKMJ
The anonymised and summarised information collected will be made available to all participants if requested. It will also be made available to The Solent Forum because they have provided bursary support (Professor Mike Clark award). The data will not be passed onto other persons or groups.
Please complete the survey, if you can, to help this student with his dissertation.

Keeping an eye on the Langstone Harbour Board notices is always a good idea, and they can be found at http://www.langstoneharbour.org.uk/boating-notices.php. This one is of particular note for Tudor though, so I will add the details here:
“LOCAL NOTICE TO MARINERS NO. 15 OF 2019
‘MALLARD SOUTH’ BUOY OUT OF POSITION
Mallard South buoy (QG) in Broom Channel, is presently in position 50o48.912’N 001o01.945’W, 20 metres northeast of its charted position. Vessels operating to and from Kendall’s Wharf should exercise particular caution in this area.”
