Crewing opportunities for Jolly Jack Tar and Jackaroo JJT and Jackaroo are still looking to maximise crewing opportunities for both Cowes Week and Dartmouth Regatta. The only stipulation is that you are a RNSA member. The aim is to get as many sailors as possible involved in these events so come for a day or the whole event.

RN Offshore Team prepares for Fastnet

With just over a week to go the final the Offshore Team are making their final preparations. RNSA has entered two yachts for this years Fastnet race. Otherwise known as “the one”. An RN lead tri-Service team made up of Regulars and Reserves will compete on the Challenge 72, Discoverer of Hornet. Jolly Jack Tar will also be hoping to build on a top 3 finish in class 3 with a well prepared and thoroughly drilled crew.

RNSA(P) Dinghies – James Cup Final Race

Dinghy sailing series Only 2 sailors braved the searing heat to race in Portsmouth harbour this evening. Dom Jacobs took 2 victories and with it the series. He had to fight for it tonight however with Charlotte Burman first off the line in both races. A beautiful Force 2 Westerly wind dropped away to nothing but a great evening on the water nonetheless.
