Plans are being finalised for this year’s Bart’s bash which has a race start time of 12:30.

For anyone who is not aware barts bash is a charity race in the aid of The Andrew Simpson Foundation. The race is not taken too seriously and is there to encourage people to get out on the water dinghy sailing with patrol boat cover.

Bart’s Bash

Saturday the 14th September is Bart’s Bash, a global charity event.

If you don’t fancy a relaxed race, we still need volunteers to make the day successful. We are hoping to have the bar open and food available for spectators and hungry sailors when they come off the water. There are slots available for bar duty, cook and assistant cook. Please sign up on Dutyman.

Tudor Regatta 1

What a successful weekend enjoyed by all! Thank you to all who helped in all areas this weekend, especially the Social Committee! The BBQ was well manned by familiar faces and enjoyed by nearly 60 people and the beef / lamb burgers went down very well! The evening Disco (big thanks to Derek!), and Hog Roast / Curry was a great success enjoyed by at least 70 people dancing till nearly midnight! Please see photos attached!

Thanks to Lin and Chris for a very successful raffle (again)!

Sunday more food and lots of hungry sailors and guests to feed.

All in all a very enjoyable weekend which wouldn’t be possible without your help and support!

We have a very tired Social Committee and supporters who worked tirelessly all weekend to make this such a great success ! Thank you to everyone!

Tudor Regatta 2

What a fantastic weekend for TSC’s 70th birthday and Regatta! The club was buzzing with many members old and new. Good company, good food and a lot of fun.

Many thanks to the Social Committee who arranged a wonderful spread of different meals.

The weather was kind to us – we had sun the whole weekend and plenty of wind for the sailing. The blindfold race in the Gig was great fun (my team won).

Well done to all who took part or helped in any way.
