Chris Brunnen Talk, Friday 24th January 7.30pm

A professional photographer in Portsmouth since 1981 who has been taking aerial photos for over 30 years. The book guides you around the city not just over that time, but with the archives of Jim Bramble, it takes you back to the early 1950s. “My talk includes how I got into photography, my work as a commercial photographer and how the book came about”. Signed copies of the book will be available after the presentation.

Bembridge Harbour

Dredging planned Dredging is promised to start again in Bembridge Harbour on 1st April 2020. Many areas have not been dredged for a number of years and urgently need it simply to allow boats to continue to use the Harbour. If the present siltation continues at its current rate, in as little as 15 years we could see a sand bank showing in the middle of the harbour even at high tide, right where boats currently sail.
