Waiting for the Tide

Back to a wordsearch this week. How well do you know the British Isles sea areas used in the Shipping Forecast? You can find all 31 in the attached wordsearch. I have attached the answers to last weeks spot the difference as usual.

Apologies if you have been waiting to hear about the Virtual Regatta races. Not having had any connection requests or emails I’ve let it slide. I have now had an email chasing me so I’ll get something scheduled. Let me know if you are interested.

As ever, feel free to drop me an email at this address if you feeling isolated and cut off from the world. It is always nice to hear from members, and any ideas of things to do would be most welcome.

Stay safe.

Free Digital Magazine Subscription

We have had the following offer of a free digital subscription for members. There might be something in there, even for sailors (there’s a piece on the Severn class Lifeboat in the one I looked at), so details are below…

Special offer to all members from Powerboat & RIB Magazine.

During hard times, it is important for us all to focus on positive things for our own mental well being, and reading about something we are passionate about is a great way to do that.

Powerboat & RIB are hoping to provide you with just such material and as part of their #keepboatingalive campaign they have made their magazine available via a FREE DIGITAL EDITION SUBSCRIPTION. This is a turning page digital version which can be read on your PC, MAC, tablet or smartphone. This free subscription also includes access to years of back issues free of charge.

Grab yours now at: https://www.powerboatandrib.com/free-digital-edition/

We hope you enjoy the magazines and wish you all to stay safe navigating the waters ahead.

I thought it worth continuing to include a few useful links here as a handy place to find them if you haven’t already got them bookmarked:

It is probably also worth noting:
