Summer Series 1/2 and Chris Wadham Trophy

Saturday sees the start of the Summer Series, a series of short course races usually run from a committee boat start. The first pair of races (Summer 1/2) are being run alongside Chris Wadham trophy, which is being managed by Locks this year. Tudor sailors should make their way to the start area around Salterns Buoy for the 11am start operated from Locks’ committee boat. As well as qualifying for the Chris Wadham Trophy using standard PYs, finish times for Tudor participants in these races will be recalculated using Tudor PYs to form the results for Summer 1 and 2.

Tudor Regatta and Laser Vago Coastal National Championships

The sailing committee would like to thank all those who made our Regatta on 28th / 29th June a success, and congratulate the winners. The dinghy races were highly competitive and whilst sailors from Locks were successful in a number of areas, Chris Ayres and Len Rich gained first place in the slow fleet, whilst Neil Boyce and Mark Webb plus crew gained 3rd place in the slow and fast fleets respectively. Meanwhile Richard and Hannah Barnes were sailing in the Laser Vago Coastal National Championships and gained a very creditable 3rd place overall. Congratulations to them.
