RAPAREE – Round Britain & Ireland Cruise 2016

In late May 2016, Mike Buggy set off from Hornet on Raparee (38ft Westerly Oceanranger) for a round Ireland and Great Britain circuit. The aims were threefold: ? Complete a partly (65%) solo outside circuit of the combined Great Britain and Ireland ? Cross the north and southbound tracks of Raparee’s previous Irish Sea, West of Scotland, Hebridean, and St Kilda voyage, thus completing separate circumnavigations of each (of Ireland/Great Britain).
