VHF SRC Operator Certificate Assessment VHF02/19 – 17/10/2019 –

RYA Cruising Instructor Course CVI01/19 – 17/11/2019 –

A five and a half day course onboard a yacht at sea, based at the Army Offshore Sailing Centre, Fort Blockhouse. The AOSC will be running one Cruising Instructor Courses in 2019. The course will commence at 1930hrs on Sunday 17 November, the first day of the course, and will run through until 1800 on Friday 22nd, the final day.

RYA Diesel engine Course DE01/19 – 18/04/2019 –

A one day course at the Army Offshore Sailing Centre, Fort Blockhouse. Conducted at the Army Offshore Sail Training Centre, the Diesel Engine maintenance course is a one day course which teaches you all of the basic knowledge and skills needed to safely run a diesel engine. RYA First Aid, Sea Survival, Offshore Safety and Diesel engine courses have all been planned over a 4 day period.

RYA Offshore Safety Course OS01/19 – 17/04/2019 –

A one day course at the Army Offshore Sailing Centre, Fort Blockhouse. To obtain the Offshore Safety certificate, candidates must hold a valid RYA Sea Survival Certificate which is less than 5 years old. The minimum age for candidates is 18. The cost of the Offshore Course is £40 but if done in conjunction with the Sea Survival Cse, the cost of both is £70.

RYA Sea Survival Course SS01/19 – 16/04/2019 –

A one day course at the Army Offshore Sailing Centre, Fort Blockhouse. The RYA Sea Survival course is conducted at the Army Offshore Sail Training Centre, and in the swimming pool at HMS Collingwood for the practical wet drills. The minimum age for candidates is 18 years old. The cost of the Sea Survival Cse is £40.

RYA First Aid Course FA01/19 – 15/04/2019 –

At the Army Offshore Sailing Centre, Fort Blockhouse The cost of the First Aid Course is £40, which includes the Certificate and a copy of the latest First Aid Manual As you will be aware, Hornet members are welcome to attend any of the courses run by the ASA through the AOSC. RYA Coastal Skipper Course CS01/19 – 15/04/2019 –

A 5 day course onboard a yacht at sea, based at the Army Offshore Sailing Centre, Fort Blockhouse. The course will commence at 0900hrs on the Monday and will run through until 1600 on the Friday. The course will teach the prospective Coastal Skipper, how to carry out all of the tasks required of an RYA Coastal Skipper.

RYA Yachtmaster Instructor Course: YMI01/19 02 – 01/04/2019 –

A five day course onboard a yacht at sea, based at the Army Offshore Sailing Centre, Fort Blockhouse. This year, the AOSC will be running another Yachtmaster Instructor Course. They course will commence on the Monday evening, the first day of the course, and will run through until 1600 on Saturday, the final day.

RYA Yachtmaster Beat Up Course & Assessment YM01/19 – 01/04/2019 –

A five day course onboard a yacht at sea, based at the Army Offshore Sailing Centre, Fort Blockhouse. The AOSC will be running a number of Yachtmaster Beat-up Courses, depending upon the required demand. The courses will commence at 0900hrs on the first day and will run through until 1600 on the Thursday.

Day Skipper Shorebased Course DSS01/19 – 04/03/2019 –

4-8 March 2019. At the Army Offshore Sailing Centre, Fort Blockhouse. The cost of the five day Course is £60, which includes the Certificate and a copy of the publications required to complete the course. A minimum number of 4 students are required to ensure that the course is run. As you will be aware, Hornet members are welcome to attend any of the courses run by the ASA through the AOSC.
