Celebrations for the oldest club in Chichester Harbour Emsworth Sailing Club will celebrate its centenary this year, by holding events including a regatta, a sail past, moonlight race, kayak events, beer festival and a vintage tea party. The juniors, who make up 20% of the membership, will take part in a carnival, swimming gala, crabbing competition and a sail to and BBQ on Fowley Island.

Exxpedition The 38,000 mile voyage, Exxpedition, sets sail in October, and is looking for 300 women to crew the 30 legs of teh voyage. As well as taking part in scientific research, crew members are expected to contribute financially to the voyage, with legs varying between 5 and 23 days at sea. Emily Penn, expedition director and skipper, who recently returned from the Great Pacific Garbage Patch (an accumulation of ocean plastic now twice the size of Texas) said "This is our biggest project yet.
