RNSA (Portsmouth) Dinghy Racing Programme 2019

Races from RN Sailing Centre, HMS EXCELLENT The 2019 Dinghy Racing Programme is now available online via RNSA website. There will be several races this year held on either Wednesday afternoons or Thursday evenings. You can bring your own boat or borrow a RNSA owned craft from the RN Sailing Centre, HMS EXCELLENT.

Unfortunately, Due to it being a Bank Holiday and a High Volume of Boats Already Booked in, it proved difficult to get a Block Booking for this Event, so could all those wishing to attend the FSMBC Lymington Rally on Sunday 5th May, please make your own Berthing Arrangements on this occasion.

Dinner will be in the Bosun’s Chair at 1700hrs menu on their website

RNSA(P) Wednesday Spring Series race 4

Whilst half a mile inland all was sunny and warm arrival on the Solent coast brought on shivers in the cold very murky fog. As the yachts gathered their teams ready for the sail to Gilkicker and the start line the big question was could they race! At Gilkicker, although vis was well down the start line transits were clear and with 12 knots of South Easterly breeze the decision was made to crack on albeit with a safe course staying well clear of the shipping channels.

War Memorial Rededication Ceremony – 19/06/2019 –

On completion of restoration. The War memorial restoration is underway. The Club, together with the Coastal Forces Heritage Trust, are planning a Rededication Service - details will be announced as the planning takes shape. If you wish to attend please pass your names to the Office.
