Announcement of the RNSA EGM 1 Nov 19 and Portmouth Moorings' Berth Holders Meeting 11 Oct 19. Dear RNSA Members, Further to the Vice Commodore’s letter of 5 July 2019 covering the latest update on the route to charitable status, I am pleased to confirm the details for the EGM. The EGM will be held at Hornet Services Sailing Club at 1800 on Friday 1 November.

A great evening to be on the water, not quite so good for yacht racing though. In the absence of Happy Apple, Tinker T took on the mantle of SOOD. With the already light SSE breeze of 5-7 knots likely to ease further a short course of N Sturbridge and back was set. At the start Tinker T with a little bit more boat speed led the 6 yachts off the line closely pursued by Option and Mark Brown's new A31 Assassin, hitherto untested.

Baring Cup – 18 Sep 19

This evening 6 Portsmouth sailors, each in RNSA Fusions, battled it out for the Baring Cup in glorious sunshine. Ian Parker and Claire Smith, staff at the RNSC, battled it out with Eleanor Eastman and Chris Paluchi from the RM School of Music along with Jennifer Cory of Collingwood and Gavin Marshall the Branch Captain.
