Seafarers Sailing Club in Hill Head, Hampshire is on course to inspire the next generation of sailors after joining RYA OnBoard - the national grassroots scheme which makes it easier and cheaper to get more young people on the water.

A young sailor from Weybridge has had a boost to his sailing ambitions thanks to a performance bursary from the RYA’s London and South East Youth Training Fund.

Here is a date for you to remember, on the 7th of March, the Worm Danglers Evening will be taking place in the upper bar 7.30 till late .

There will be a live Band, Raffle, and is an American supper. ( that is where you bring some food for the Buffet table)

They are a great evening, and its free. Just the price of the food you bring for the Buffet. You do not have to like Fishing to come along, It is open to all Club Members. and of course you can sign in a friend, Support YOUR club and make it a date.

Tall Ships Youth Trust fund raising dinner

The fund raising dinner will be held at BRNC on 14 March. Please see the flyer for further details on how to support this great cause. The charity made it's first operating profit for 17 years last year and we are laying the ground to grow substantially again. In particular we are running an appeal for a New Flagship - an affordable schooner - something akin to the Winston Churchill we operated over 60 years ago when we were the STA.

Crew wanted for Round Ireland Race in June

An opportunity to sail the Round Ireland race on board the RNVR Yacht Club boat Volunteer, a Beneteau First 40.7. The race starts and finishes in Wicklow and the commitment would be from 20th to approximately 30th June 2020. Enthusiasm will be more important than race experience. Cost is estimated at £200 a head, excluding travel to and from Ireland.
