Portland Race 1 of Series 2
Another gentle evening This year’s Friday second series started much like the first, with another gentle breeze which died completely as the race progressed.
There were six entries on an evening that was dry, but threatening the storms forecast for later in the night.
A two round short course was set, this later being shortened to one round, and the boats got away upwind on a short leg to buoy 2.
