Young sailors fly the flag at Lee for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. Joining the weekend’s celebrations Lee’s Gybe Club sailors took to the water turning their bunting into burgees.
Along with learning the essentials of sailing at Lee, Gybe Club sailors joined in a special Sail for Gold Diamond Jubilee sailing relay race. The winning team’s skippers all received RYA Sail for Gold medals. Encouraging youngster to discover all aspects of sailing including creating a fun, friendly and competitive environment are regular ingredients to a regular Saturday morning Gybe Club session
