Warm sunshine and a solid breeze, what more can a yacht racing crew wish for? Perhaps a tad less tide. So was it nine or eight boats on the start line at Gilkicker? My mathematically able team said they counted nine but I only have eight results. If anyone can throw any light on this conundrum I would be grateful.

At the lodgers meeting today (18 April) the security officer requested that members adhere to the rules that require you to inform the guardroom of any visitors 24 hours in advance. The form required is attached. As you will note it has been extant for some while.

Haversham Sailing Club Pushes the Boat Out the extra mile

Push the Boat Out preparations are really hotting up now in preparation for the May bonanza when clubs right across the south (and the whole country) will be opening their doors for people to come along and try sailing.

Bosun fleet racing - bring a novice sailor! The Woodcock Trophy will be help on Wed 2 May 18 as a Bosun dinghy Fleet Race around the harbour. Approximate timings are below - see the Facebook event on the Royal Navy Dinghy Sailors' Group for more information. In the interest of greater participation, all crews should be comprised of an experienced RNSA helm and novice/non-RNSA crew.
